Hello, my name is Manouk!
I was born in Korea, but grew up in The Netherlands (hoi!). I founded Bunch of Backpackers more than 10 years ago, initially as an easy way to share travel tips with friends. It got a bit out of hand. So far, I visited over 75 countries, many of them as a solo traveler. I love hiking and backpacking in offbeat destinations like Sudan, Pakistan, Iraqi Kurdistan, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan and Mongolia. With this blog I hope to inspire you to get out of your comfort zone and to help preparing you by sharing my tips and experiences!
