In 2011 I traveled to western Kenya as part of my medical training. For a period of about 8 weeks I worked in a large university hospital in Eldoret and a regional hospital in Kapenguria. During this stay I participated in surgery, joined the daily ward rounds, made house visits and visited rural area’s for tuberculosis education and testing.  Below you can find my Kenya healthcare photo essay I took during this period (with my old Panasonic TZ-5).
