Sudan

Backpacking Sudan is definitely one my favorite travel experiences. It’s still relatively undiscovered by tourists, but it has some amazing sights to offer. You can visit pyramids and ancient temples or stroll through vibrant markets and drink a chai at one of the street chai stalls. I solo backpacked throughout the country for about 2-3 weeks, traveling from the Egyptian border to the Ethiopian border. Based on my Sudan travel experience, I wrote a few Sudan blogs including an extensive travel guide, an overview of costs, things to in Khartoum, solo female travel in Sudan, a backpacking Sudan itinerary and how to get your visa.

Hopefully, you will find all information you need to plan your next backpacking trip. Please don’t hesitate to contact me, if you have any questions regarding backpacking in Sudan!
