China

China is perfect for all types of travelers. There is so much to see and do, you can easily spent a few months here. Highlights of backpacking China include the Great Wall, the terracotta army in Xi’an, the karst mountains around Yang Shuo and of course amazing food. Don’t forget to visit Jiuzhaigou, one of my most favorite natural places in the world. Getting around is easy. Some of the best backpacker hostels are in China. They are perfect for meeting new travel friends and finding budget tours. China is a great country for independent travelers. Don’t forget to check out the ‘Make a Plan’ section on this blog for loads of general backpacking tips. Are you ready for your China adventure?
